Vermeer graduated from the USAF's + Techstars program in 2020 -- and in only 8 months of effort secured 5 DoD contracts.


ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an experience marketer to help bring our products to market inside the defense & national security market.

The candidate will work closely with our CEO, on doing market research, taking customer feedback and implementing it into our product.

We have a tech we believe is groundbreaking, and everyone in the DoD wants it -- but now we need to figure out exactly** who wants it, and what "flavor" of the tech we should build.  -- You should help us figure that out.

We have only been in the DoD/Defense for the last 1.5 years and in that short time have close $4m of contracts.

We are also looking for a savvy Linkediner and leads list builder.

We are a small team, building a very cool product, you will have a lot of room for growth and to make an impact.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE POSITION 

●   Build a go to market strategy for our product and help determine which "flavor" of our product to build.

●   Run weekly 1-on-1s with each direct report to help them overcome roadblocks and chart their long-term career growth

●   Monitor team KPIs and proactively identify the actions that your team members can take to improve each month

●   Demonstrate a “never quit” attitude and instill tenacity and resilience in your team

●   Foster a transparent, inclusive, and achievement-oriented team culture

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 

●   At least 4 years of experience managing a team

●   You have strong empathy for peers, direct reports, and customers

●   You have excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate behavior change

●   You’re adaptable and open to changing processes when it’s right for your team, your organization, and the customers you serve
